Orange Paintings:

Orange paintings 1 & 2 Acrylic on canvas 2006
$450 Each

I am using orange as a representation of divine love, an emblem of permanence and a symbol of fidelity. It is an expression of constancy, conquering and extinguishing the flames of passion. There are drips of tears over the woman’s orange breast and belly that has become a circular shape, as Jesus has filled her with his constant love and fidelity. He cries for her too with tears of gold and red. This is His sacrifice and his mourning for her as he prophesies about the end times when times will be difficult for her. The purple surrounds are his Kingship in her life, completely surrounding her.
